Between quality, ethics and know-how, consuming French becomes a truly committed choice.
Made in France (or manufactured in France, if we want to be fully in line with the principle) has, of course, always existed. But today, if it's so popular—large corporations and emerging startups are increasingly claiming it—it's because it has real value. So yes, there are so many advantages to consuming and buying French. Shall we explain?
MADE IN FRANCE AND QUALITY
Made in France often rhymes with quality, and especially know-how. And yes, France is a specialist in craftsmanship, and we are the heirs of a deeply rooted culture. You only have to walk the streets of Paris to admire the work of great architects, visit the parks of the some 45,000 châteaux that make up France, smell the unique creations of great perfumers, or even taste a glass of wine accompanied by French cheese to see that our heritage and culture are inhabited by a unique and particularly rich know-how.
It is with this in mind that Made in France is part of a qualitative approach, and brands often prioritize quality over quantity. Entrepreneurs cultivate and share their expertise, but above all, their passion for creativity and their country.
MADE IN FRANCE AND DESIGNED FOR THE PLANET
It ultimately goes without saying: consuming French means consuming responsibly. It means saying no to air or sea transport and its heavy impact on the global carbon footprint. It means favoring short supply chains wherever possible, in order to avoid ever-increasing and increasingly polluting international trafficking.
However, be careful, many brands proudly display the French flag on their packaging even though they are not Made in France at all. It's a way to benefit from a beautiful image without producing in France. So, read the packaging carefully to avoid confusion!
MADE IN FRANCE, THE EXPERTISE SHOW
Many of these French artisans and producers showcase their expertise at the Made In France trade fair, which attracts an ever-increasing number of exhibitors each year. It's a trade fair that's particularly close to our hearts at Pikoc, as it's where we began our fragrance adventure four years ago!
You've got it: buying French is a responsible and civic act. So, like at Pikoc , say yes to quality and authenticity, buy blue-white-red!
